the merit of holidays

we will leave everything behind, i remember when i drove across klang river alone a wild imagination overtook me, the bridge wavering and quaking and rubbles falling one by one , and i not knowing how to swim could just be trap in the car, at that point of time what is the most precious thing that come to my mind, kids none, husband he would be fine, family and friends to them life goes on, i need to save myself, with sins countless, where would i be...that's horrifying. The holidays enable me to dig into this. A sort of refreshment to the soul.
As i heard a dai' or preacher speaking at the oasis channel, he mentioned about polishing sincererity and improving creatvity by summing up what saidina Ali r.a said that today ought to be better than yesterday and we aim for Allah 's pleasure and not mankind so in our journey keep to the tradition of Prophet s.a.w, how he as a perfect example faced and overcome turbulance...in one of his article he shared about the occasion when the Prophet mentioned a selected candidate to enter the Jannah, he was a man who before going to sleep cleared his thought by forgiving others, no wonder ust Fadzillah reminded us to do the same before we sleep. Commenting on this the dai' said the man was being creative to pave his way to Jannah. I never thought of it, if that is an example of creativity, i guess its brilliant. This dai' really got into me, i need to know more...
Next, family gathering as usual will have dissenting opinion on the destination, i prefer a place with easy access to facilities which means near home. But this time i decided to listen to the others. The story of Luqman alHakim illustrated the occasion of a father, a son and a donkey:people have their opinion, but let's focus
At last its finally over and we enjoyed a happy trip... a moment to cherish, the littles are still hanging to the mood, well guys it's over, everyone was a bit excited on the horse ride.well hold your horses....
